Project organization:

In our group project, I partnered with my team to outline the tasks and set achievable timelines. We distributed responsibilities based on individual skills and aligned on the level of excellence we wanted. One of the weaknesses highlighted in my peer feedback form is that I tend to lack initiative when engaging with others. I’ve been actively working on improving this by making an effort to share my input first during discussions.

During the project, I prioritized effective communication with my team and relevant stakeholders. For instance, while conducting the user study for the website, I contributed to designing the interview and survey questions to gather meaningful feedback. I presented my findings to the team in a clear and actionable manner. I fulfilled my individual duties within the group and remained available to support others whenever required.

Communication and Reporting:

I made use of discord to communicate with Kiril(nausea) and Dimo(SpielerFreddy). As you can see here we discuss on what we’re working on and asking eachother for feedback.

We asked key questions to a target user who plays League of Legends, covering all the essential topics needed for our website project.

We could have structured the survey better to elicit more varied responses. For example, we could have given the user a free response section where they could share their own opinions for each question. example:

Exploratory research:

I played an active role in questioning and conducting research during the project. I contributed to the design research document by collecting information from various sources and ensuring its relevance and applicability. Additionally, I took the initiative to study HTML and CSS through tutorials and develope my own technical skills.

Here is a screenshot of i a few things i learned from the playlist. A few things I learned was how to use hyperlinks, audio and images.

I organized my tasks thoughtfully, aligning them with the team’s objectives while also addressing my personal learning goals. I sought feedback and used it to refine my work. The amount of feedback I actively seek is low, and I realize that I should be asking for more.

Core values:

My core values revolve around enjoying what I do and finding happiness in the process. This project has helped me recognize the importance of embracing joy and appreciating the journey while collaborating within a team. I make an effort to ensure my core values do not hinder our group dynamic. I adapt as needed to maintain a balance between everyone's core values.
